Crystal clear description of who where why what how. No one who reads this can't say they didn't know.

Thank you, Katie.

What an exquisite garden path you’ve produced! The journey is not unlike the boat trip down the chocolate river in Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder’s version). Thanks for the easily shared clarity and the links. You do a great job and it is much appreciated.

So which thing did Trump speak at? Whichever it was, was that Amy Klobuchar in the front row? Why did she applaud after Trump’s speech, unenthusiastic ally but she was clapping. Do I all of a sudden feel sick because I watched a few minutes of Trump’s speech.

Dave… this blew my mind… he spoke at BOTH. I’ll have writeups… stay tuned…

I almost feel sorry for anyone who was in the audience for both speeches. No, actually they deserved to suffer.

If only corporate media would use these handy FAQ’s. I do so tire of these people.

They won’t see it. But I posted it on LinkedIn so who knows…?

Excellent primer. While the massive security breach at the Treasury Department dominates my list of concerns, Christian Extremism also ranks high. I've been seeing articles about resurgence of faith and in particular the 'new appeal' of Catholicism. 'Spiritualist' Paul Kingsnorth has become Orthodox Christian. The Free Press has published a couple of essays on 'perhaps we need a religious revival'. More power to anyone who finds peace through faith. But please do not force it upon the rest of us. I've had the conversation with many faithful friends. When I explain to them why I am unable to believe what they believe, I offer up 'but the music can be wonderful to hear'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24CsRD1BMhM <--Leo Kottke, In Christ There Is No East or West

That was very informative. Now I'm going to go pray for humanity to outgrow that religious nonsense so we can finally have nice things.
