Yes, Democrats are stupid enough to make repulsive repugnant republican hypocrites look like disciples. How appalling.

Perhaps the moron Klobuchar can go on MSNBC late at night and insipidly giggle about it. 😡

It’s really just one big party of CHRISTO-fascists. How convenient. Thank you for this fantastic article 👀

The new Crusades might be right around the corner wanting to shove belief in a ‘god given right’ to rule down everyone’s throats. Hallelujah, all praise the Trump.

Great reporting in this piece that covers so many insidious threads in the story! You won't get this depth in MSM. Not surprising that Dems get used over and over since appearing religious can help with masking being ethically challenged.

"It’s not clear whether Wamp erred out of disregard for the truth or simple innumeracy. And even the genuine statistics could could be explained for reasons other than a rise in young interest, such as by older listeners dying or improving their musical tastes." :) Even God thinks Christian "music" sucks.

Good article .

Jeff Sharlet’s book is called “the family” details all that goes on in Washington on K St.

There is also a movie.

All of these prayer breakfasts are all Christian nationalism, and far right parts of other churches also.

Christian nationalism is spiritual abuse.

During the Nixon administration a guy named Doug Coe was invited in

Talking all about evangelizing other countries

Trying to be a spiritual advisor to Nixon

He had the idea that if the name of Jesus Christ or God was invoked that one could get people to do whatever they wanted them to do.

Then belief in God and belonging to certain groups became the litmus test politically.

Our country was created by our founding fathers to escape the rule of the King of England, and from having to be forced to worship in the Church of England.

It was to be a free democracy to worship or to not worship with an absolute separation of church and state.

Over the years as religious groups have infiltrated in every level of government and into public policy. Any attempt to address this and reinforce separation of church and state has been met with the great pushback victim cry

“ religious persecution”

Thus, we have the situation that we do now

All these prayer breakfasts and or masses need to not be connected to any elected officials or anything to do with our government.
